I find it very saddening when i see the comments of new kpop fans on idols who are extremely talented in singing but their visual appearance is less appealing compared to other idols.
They have the talent but those fan boards are just bombarding all about their looks and everything but not how good their singing is. They are even labelled lousy and some even mentioned that they need plastic surgery. Whereas, younger idols who are pretty/handsome get comments complimenting them that they sing v well /dance v well despite the fact that they are unable to even hold a tune properly even if it is for a short part, or maybe even depend on loads of autotuning to cover their singing flaws. I mean, if they want to support their idol because of looks, they can for all they want. But, they do not need to degrade other idols who are much better and worthy singers right?? There's totally no respect. Plus, the negative comments were flowing in even before the singer even opened his mouth to sing. Like wth?! The fans just cast a judgement on the singing based on appearance. Tskkk..

Has the kpop world turn into something just visually appealing? Be it appearance or abs for guy idols and nice figure for girl idols?? Is a singer even actually a singer now? Maybe those companies shld just recruit top models instead -_- Also, now almost every kpop group are heading towards the beastly/sexy image. Shorts get shorter and skirts too! And guy idols are ripping their shirt on stage every now and then. Sigh. What will happen to the kpop world in the future :( Totally getting more and more disappointed. However, we cant really blame the idols in going for such image since the music industry is sooooo competitive with the many introduction of new idol grps every now and then. Since fans demand all these, the music companies just make the idols supply all these, to meet fans' desires. So, the cause and effect, it's just all one big round. I guess the old-school kpop with vocal talents can no longer exist now :(

Based on what I feel, the standard of the songs are lowering and as long as idol groups have a LARGE fanbase that they attract due to their good looks, they'll top the charts easily. More good looks members = more fans = larger fan base = more ppl supporting = top music charts. That's how it works now. Well, of course new fans will be attracted to their looks first before even looking at their singing right?? That's human nature, i guess (?)

What will happen to the kpop world in future?? :(
